        • Gather the necessary components: NodeMCU Lua ESP8266 ESP-12E cp2102 WiFi Development Board, USB cable (Type-A to micro-USB), and a computer with the Arduino IDE installed.
        • Ensure that your computer is powered on but the NodeMCU board is not connected yet.
        • Take the USB cable and locate the USB Type-A connector, which is usually rectangular and larger.
        • Connect the Type-A end of the USB cable to an available USB port on your computer.
        • Take the other end of the USB cable with the micro-USB connector, which is smaller and rectangular in shape.
        • Locate the micro-USB port on the NodeMCU board. It is usually located on the edge of the board.
        • Align the micro-USB connector with the micro-USB port on the NodeMCU board and gently insert it. Ensure a secure connection.
        • Once the cable is connected to both the computer and the NodeMCU board, the board will receive power from the computer.
        • Open the Arduino IDE on your computer.
        • In the Arduino IDE, go to File > Preferences and add the following URL to the "Additional Boards Manager URLs":
        • Go to Tools > Board > Boards Manager. Search for "esp8266" and install the "esp8266" board package.
        • Select the appropriate board by going to Tools > Board and selecting "NodeMCU 1.0 (ESP-12E Module)."
        • Choose the correct port by going to Tools > Port and selecting the port that corresponds to the NodeMCU board.
        • Your NodeMCU Lua ESP8266 Development Board is now successfully connected to your computer. You can begin programming and utilizing its Wi-Fi capabilities for your IoT projects.
