Usage
- Gather the necessary components: NodeMcu ESP8266 V3 Lua CH340 WiFi Development Board, USB cable (Type-A to micro-USB), and a computer with the Arduino IDE installed.
- Ensure that your computer is powered on but the NodeMcu board is not connected yet.
- Take the USB cable and locate the USB Type-A connector, which is usually rectangular and larger.
- Connect the Type-A end of the USB cable to an available USB port on your computer.
- Take the other end of the USB cable with the micro-USB connector, which is smaller and rectangular in shape.
- Locate the micro-USB port on the NodeMcu board. It is usually located on the edge of the board.
- Align the micro-USB connector with the micro-USB port on the NodeMcu board and gently insert it. Ensure a secure connection.
- Once the cable is connected to both the computer and the NodeMcu board, the board will receive power from the computer.
- Open the Arduino IDE on your computer.
- In the Arduino IDE, go to File > Preferences and add the following URL to the "Additional Boards Manager URLs": http://arduino.esp8266.com/stable/package_esp8266com_index.json
- Go to Tools > Board > Boards Manager. Search for "esp8266" and install the "esp8266" board package.
- Select the appropriate board by going to Tools > Board and selecting "NodeMCU 1.0 (ESP-12E Module)."
- Choose the correct port by going to Tools > Port and selecting the port that corresponds to the NodeMcu board.
- Your NodeMcu ESP8266 V3 Development Board is now successfully connected to your computer. You can begin programming and utilizing its Wi-Fi capabilities for your IoT projects.
